I'm just a random 28 year old dude who likes art, video games, music, watching videos on youtube and other random stuff lol
By the way, I didn't mention this anywhere but all my characters are original characters. Most of them where influenced by either games, movies/films/animations, music, mythology, other artists, my dreams or well just ideas I had.
I won't do commissions (because its not about the fame/money for me but the fun of sharing and just doing stuff) and requests because of the stuff I'm working on consumes all my time (But I might consider it in the future), also I DON'T DO FETISH ART! maybe... haha... no... maybe... ehm... but lewd Art is here too. (nothing too crazy NSFW though, since I currently have no plans on touching the harder stuff, probably)
I DONT SUPPORT NFTS AND AI ART. (if you like them thats fine... Me? No.)
I am actually interested in making a lot of different stuff. In the past I only did anthro characters. Now I'm working on aliens, monsters, mythical creatures, humans, humanlike creatures, fantasy characters, started to design weapons, armor, clothing, stories, maps, how to do worldbuilding and storytelling, how to do proper character bios and informations and much more. In the future I also wish to create music and even animation or maybe games. I also tried working on projects with their own universe, plots and characters, but these take alot of time and where a bit too much for me right now.
I maybe should even start at making "good backgrounds" or landscapes since they are also important for worldbuilding.
Even though I took too damn long to put out new stuff, I really make sure that It hopefully looks the part. Recently I just experimented with more styles. Like anime, realistic or maybe something more experimental. (I also wanna try PinUp art... with my styles of course)
My biggest problem still is, that Im kinda perfectionistic. And I hesitate too much. Because of the fear my stuff isn't "good enough". Man, that is still the most annoying thing. But hoping that I will get over this and actually put stuff out. EVEN IF IT TAKES ME YEARS... what I wish could be turned into weeks or maybe even days. (Which is now the case as of September 2023)
In the end, it's the journey that is the most fun for me, not the goal.
But at least Im still working at improving and on something.
Quality over Quantity! Even though I have alot of quantity which needs quality, Yo. Ah. Yeah.

P.P.S.: Funfacts: I actually intented to use "Medicus Vēmortuus" for my darker themed/styled pictures and still havent fully utilized it. lol

I always love navigating the minefield that is the current state of the "art industry/community" to find the gems still being hidden in all of the garbage XD
Fucking tell me about it. I came back to dA because it is the only artist-centered website that has anything going on. I was so very extremely upset though when I saw that dA was literally advertising AI bullshit.
To say it was disheartening is the biggest understatement of all time.

It was also a sad sight to see that alot of artists even gave up in that timeframe when AI art came up and got pushed hard.
What I've seen through the years is that this site has been falling for quite a while now. I mean, most groups are completley worthless now, since they are barely moderated anymore plus back then It helped smaller artists get more attention, now? Barely any change from the normal interactions people get (Most of them get also spammed with AI art and other trash since well moderation being barely there).
There are still some groups that are moderated but they are rare.
The Big artists on this site of course, stay big (even with the useless hype feature that doesnt help smaller people and barely does anything noticable on big people), even though the interaction with their stuff has also declined. (If you look at most of their watchers and the usual favorites and comments they get)
I mean its a real struggle now especially for smaller artists since they barely get any recognition now since, either deviantarts algorythm is pure trash or people just dont care that much anymore, its really heartbreaking, to see this once great site and community fall so hard.
I mean there is still some hope, but everytime I see someone give up or just stop doing what they love... yeah its bad.

I would actually have no problem doing something like this, but right now I have so much I need to do that I can't right now. Maybe in the future. I will put it on my "maybe I do this when I have some more time for requests"-list.
